Finding Calm in Chaos: Three Rituals to Manifest While You Rest

It is Aloha Friday, and instead of feeling like just another day, this morning was DIFFERENT.

I woke up, and the first things that crossed my mind were:

  • Record that dream.

  • Get outside and recharge.

  • Listen to a podcast about intuition.

As a single mom of two, mornings are often fast-paced and task-oriented. Yet, I've been learning to maintain calm and peace through what used to be chaotic moments before school.

What changed?

My intentions before going to bed. The universe has been sending me a flow of podcasts, teachings, and articles on this topic lately. Within the last three weeks, I’ve been implementing them as rituals in my daily life. I realized I was putting so much work into my “conscious” hours but neglecting my “unconscious” hours.

But why this neglect?

We've known for years that dream studies and REM (Rapid Eye Movement) are some of the most informative moments for our development. However, as a society, we are often taught that napping, resting, and healthy sleep habits are against the “hustle mentality” necessary for success.

Recently, I’ve been guided toward the importance of sleep—specifically, the importance of interdimensional pathways during the hours when our brain is “off.” I wanted to focus my intentions and intuition to be more aware and connected during times of rest.

I have been shown three simple rituals that you can also implement into your day-to-day life to help intentionally dream, manifest, and create a deep consciousness.

Three Rituals for Intentional Rest

  1. Focus In: Spend the last 15-30 minutes before bed looking into your spiritual wants and needs. Turn off the part of your brain that critiques your day or pressures you about everything you need to accomplish tomorrow.

  2. Five-Minute Grounding: I spend this time stating my safety and my kids’ safety in our home. I declare protection from the Kūpuna (Ancestors), Spirit, and Universe/Guides so I may rest fully without worry of this realm. I pull all my focus to the weight of my body, breathe into the clarity I want to have on a subject, or specifically ask my Kūpuna, Spirit, and Guides to reveal something I need to understand.

  3. Setting The Tone: I made a manifestation/meditation playlist on Spotify called FREQUENCY that plays as I drift to sleep. This list of songs helps me focus on peace and opening my heart to receive.

Why Am I Sharing?

It should never be our intention to keep secrets; we are meant to share how to break through the system. We are all called to vibrate at a higher frequency. My hope is that this little personal story can help guide you into this weekend and meet you exactly where you are on your journey today.
